Stitch Fix Box Time!

My Stitch Fix box arrived....two days early again!

What is Stitch Fix?

So everyone is talking about it and it is everywhere on Pinterest. So what is it?

I've had it for almost 2 years and I love it. I originally signed up because after several years of staying home with babies, I was returning to teaching, part-time, and everything I owned was either out of style, didn't fit, or was worn out.

Is it a subscription service?  Yes....but....my favorite thing is that you completely control when you receive anything and can easily skip one....or more....months if you are....say selling your house and moving across town.  Or have 38 birthday presents to buy any particular month.

Another great feature is that it only costs $20 to send out a box...but you get it all credited towards any one (or 5) things you buy.

My 3rd most favorite feature is I don't have to drag any disgruntled preschoolers around to the store and dressing room with me....where they most assuredly yell out things like "why do you have all those veins all over your legs!?!???!".....or worse.....

Here is the rundown (in bullet points....cause ain't nobody got time for reading paragraphs....)

*Go to Stitch Fix

*fill out an online survey about sizes/preferences/likes/style

*choose what type of pricing you prefer (I always pick "as cheap as possible;)
*Link your pinterest account....VERY important!  I have received many items I have pinned....they actually look at it and listen :)

*Schedule your box....and then change your arrival date 23 more times during the month because you can't wait...

*Five items (tops, bottoms, accessories....whatever you picked that you want)
arrive at your door in a pretty little package.

*Take 3 business days to try it all on in your own closet.

*Send back anything you don't want (free shipping, return packing already included, you can just stick the whole thing in your mailbox or drop off at the post office).

*Fill out the online "survey" about what you liked and didn't like.

And finally...my box!

I had already "cheated" and looked online at the "check-out" section to see what they sent....but could only read a description.
As always, they sent cards with ideas for how to wear what they sent...very helpful.
How much do you love this teal green Toren Layered Beaded Necklace by Zad?  I also immediately loved this navy blue Clemency Graphic Print Tab Sleeve Tunic by 19 Cooper.
Status for both- Kept!
(And these pictures were all taken with all the laundry in the background...at least its folded!!!)
The next top was a Praxton Pleat Detail Split Neck Blouse in dark green by Skies are Blue.
This was very comfortable.  I liked how the back was a little bit longer than the front... makes you comfortable in skinny jeans.  I paired it with the jeans I wear pretty much every day.  If Express ever quits making jeans, I am in trouble!
Status: Undecided...but I think it will come in handy for Christmas season!
I didn't think I would like the Nielson Lightweight Cotton Cardigan by BRIXON IVY, but once I put it on with the green top, like suggested by my stylist from Stitchfix, I loved it!  So after this move, I decided for sure on the green blouse.
I is really warm, but lightweight.  It reminds me of a thermal shirt material...does that say comfy fall?  Yes it does!

Stitch Fix also sent a pair of Mavi Nolita Skinny Jeans.  They were adorable and the correct length.  But, were way too big, so they were sent back.
